Co-Owner
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist
Medical Therapeutic Yoga Practitioner
200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher
Dr. Naylor became a physical therapist because of her fascination with the human body. As a former athlete, she believes true health and fitness begins with movement, nutrition, and mindset. She loves connecting the dots to find root causes and strives to deliver whole health to the whole person, not just a body part. Her unique approach is informed by these interests and she loves sharing them with her patients to empower them on their own health journey.
After graduating from University of Virginia, she taught English in China traveling all over southeast Asia. She then graduated from Old Dominion University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and started her career in general orthopedics and sports medicine. She spent almost a decade in home health working one-on-one with patients recovering from post-op joint replacements, spinal surgeries, post stroke care, and neurodegenerative conditions. She now specializes in pelvic health and is a certified yoga instructor (RYT200) and pregnancy and post-partum exercise specialist (PCES). She has advanced training in medical therapeutic yoga and lifestyle medicine (MTY1), functional nutrition, TMJ care, and bone health and osteoporosis care.
Kim is the author of The Ham and Chicken Travel Series, a collection of travel books for children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 kids, husband, and fur baby. She can usually be found playing in or around a body of water.
